Their own meeting shows merely 2% want the ICE Prison in SWR.

Folks, Please take a look at http://www.noprisonswr.org for the latest rundown on who attended the ICE meeting on November 5th and what they said about the prison. It’s not pretty for our leaders who keep telling us how many public meetings that we’ve had about the prison and how well supported it is my Southwest Ranches. Here’s a link to the article: http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/pulp/2011/11/cca_robocall_southwest_ranches_audio.php Don’t forget, Thursday December 8th at 7:00 PM at the Old Town Hall on Dykes Rd (160th) we have the opportunity to take the microphone and tell our councilmen our names, address and how we feel about the prison. (How DO you feel about the prison?) Bring signs as we are going to have a protest before the meeting. Send us some chants we can use. Also, here’s a reminder that Congressman Diaz Balart is having a constituent outreach day. We sure wish OUR representatives Alcee Hastings and Debbie Wasserman Schultz would have one for THEIR constituents. No hope here on that one though. Royalty doesn’t mix with the masses.
